Making the Extranet work for you

You will often find it said that every business has different needs.

Well at Project-Extranet we not only say that, but also know it. We also know that Projects within your business can also have different needs and so have built Project-Extranet with that in mind, ensuring it is an extremely flexible platform.

Extranet Apps are our way of allowing Project-Extranet to be configured exactly as you need it.

Project-Extranet is built up of atomic components, micro apps that build into the whole.

Features such as notes, the project audit log, work log and pricing, task management, meeting notes, photos management are all Extranet Apps.

If you need one of these features to work in a slightly different way or need something bespoke to your business we can work with you to achieve this. And because we are editing small components which are installed into the main Extranet our pricing won’t break the bank.

Core Apps are automatically installed into your Extranet (Notes, Project Log, Meeting Workspace, Tasks Management etc) but ourselves and our partners develop new Apps all the time. Where appropriate we place these into the Apps Store for you to pick and choose which ones you use, as not all may be applicable to your needs.

Can I build and commission bespoke Extranet Apps?

Yes you can and please do!

As well as taking existing Extranet Apps and customising them to your needs, if you have an idea that can make your business be more efficient or gain a unique competitive advantage against your competitors we can help there too.

Bespoke Apps can really help your business; we see it all the time with Project-Extranet customers who have driven real improvements in their operations with bespoke distinct bespoke Apps that work and integrate seamlessly into their businesses.

For example if you have a store of internal data that you routinely compile into reports for your customers, why not automate the process and publish the results in real time to the Extranet via an App. Those customers get the information they want, in a graphically rich format, any time of the day, any day of the year, and your staff have had to do no work!

Or do you have a business process you would like to automate, for example reporting the work you have carried out for a client, or requesting them to submit a request to you. An Extranet App can be developed to suite your exact workflow. And as it’s integrated snugly into the Extranet, you can get real benefits above and beyond your bespoke App.

Are all Extranet Apps built by Project-Extranet?

Of course here at Project-Extranet we are experienced at building Extranet Apps, but we recognise that you may be already working with a development partner and want to continue that relationship. At Project-Extranet we already work with a number of external agencies and can also work with your supplier of choice if that is your wish.
